The sauce was heavenly, a mixture of naturally sweet summer tomatoes, perfectly balanced against the satisfying acidity. The texture of the pasta was sheer perfection, with not only a firm :bite; to it, but also a slightly grainy surface for the sauce to cling to. I am never eating slippery pasta again!
