Several local chefs and even a tailor from Naples, Italy have told me this is some of the best pizza they have had. In my experience, the non-pizza items aren't as great as the pizzas.

Finally a GREAT place in North Beach! Send all of your visitors here for a classic North Beach experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, and you will never be disappointed by the margarita. Another great thing to try is the "very long thin pizza". The grande is quite a sight when it comes out. good value for four very hungry or 6 regularly hungry people.

The pizza here is so damned good. Beautiful crust, fresh cheese, tangy sauce, and made by absolute pros. And I love that it's right on Washington Square.

The Margherita and Diavola con Rucola are my favs at this family friendly neighborhood restaurant that is definitely a destination for real Italian pizza. Another great option on the menu is the Sicilian style pie "Burratina di Margherita". It feeds more people (3+) and is on this ridiculously delicious foccaia type crust. We love it...
My mouth is watering just thinking about the Margarita Pizza from the 500 degree oven and it's 9:30 in the morning! Can't wait to get there again very soon and we always order the Margarita and then some other pizza we haven't tried yet. It's all been fantastic and nothing compares to this pizza. We had pizza in Rome and this is superior. Get there and eat a pizza!
