Currently a stay at home mom of two young kids. Love to make hearty soups and bake healthy/easy things with the kids (muffins, cookies, soda bread, biscuits, etc.). I'm going to slowly get more into cooking as well now that kids are getting a bit older.

I like good small neighborhood places for visitors too. We've taken foodie visitors to Namu in Richmond & it's been a big hit. Small, cozy and hip. Excellent Korean/Japanese fusion food - not a combination that you find often.

I think Zuni is a great classic SF place that feels modern & I've always had memorable meals there. They have great oysters & a lively bar which always feels special.
Sadly, 've had a lot of bad noodles in Japantown, but not at Suzu. Casual noodle place, but has nice clean atmosphere. Great bowls of noodles.
