if you're serious about the casual part, morty's deli is open weeknights until 8pm and has very satisfying east-coast-style subs and sandwiches. chicken parm to make happy even an italian american from new jersey. not open weekends though.

so this is the burma superstar in oakland, and having just taken yet another veg friend here for her first superstar experience i am reminded of its consistent tasty greatness here and in sf.
