Every year I order my cake from them--usually the Swedish princess cake, but the pink champagne cake was great for my 40th (it was huge). Their pastry cream is so delicious.

I second that notion. One of their pastry chefs did my wedding cake too, so you can't go wrong there.

Expensive, but worth it. I love the coffee cruch cake from Sweet Spot on Buchannan/Sutter - but you gotta be fan..maybe a native?
