Hey folks,

I have a friend visiting from Dallas in June and he wants to head up to Napa/Sonoma for the weekend. We have a $100-$200 budget per person including tax/tip/wine for one dinner. Where would you go? Thanks!

I'd stop at Spoonbar for a cocktail if you're in Healdsburg.

Scott Beattie literally wrote the book on Botanical-based cocktails, and he makes some of the best seasonal concotions around.

I concur! Check out this beauty of a Clover Club Beattie did for me:

Hi - there are so many wonderful places to eat in the Napa/Sonoma area! One of my favorite restaurants is Bottega in Yountville. Not because they have a celebrity chef, but because the food and the wine are outstanding. Other favorites include Ubuntu in Napa, Cyrus in Healdsburg and Redd in Yountville. Hope you enjoy!

I had an amazing dinner with friends at El Dorado Kitchen in Sonoma last week. Creative cocktails, great charcuterie starter, and a s'mores tart that was incredibly tasty. And a great wine list, as you might imagine. I also highly recommend Sante at Sonoma Mission Inn.

Terra, St. Helena, CAAdd this place

Terra is always a class act.

I've heard they've retooled a little bit to make it more approachable and affordable, but the menu it a mix of wine country + asian influence.

Hiro Sonne and Lisa Doumani are amazing as a team.

Definitely have the Broiled Black Cod.  I've had to learn to make this dish because it was so damn good at the restaurant.

Amazing vegetarian cuisine where you won't miss the meat.

Last time I was here, Jeremy Fox was cooking and it was spectacular.  However, they've changed the chef, and I hear its still pretty spectacular.
