I can't vouch for their beignets, but they still serve Joanna's legendary Meetinghouse Biscuits, which are a-freakin-mazing. Beignets are also on the dessert menu, but maybe someone else can weigh in who has tried them. I personally have been too full to get dessert any time I've dined there (must have been all those biscuits).
You can also order Meetinghousefrozen biscuits for delivery here: http://www.meetinghousebiscuitssf.com/

Joanna's biscuits are the bomb. A buttery bomb.

They have delicious biscuits here, along with the famous southern-style brunch. Yum.

I had a tasty, buttery biscuit here. Look for it on their brunch menu. Maybe Knead Patisserie in the back sells them separately? Hrm.

Well, how handy--there's a picture of the biscuit sandwich! Move over, McDonald's.

I'm thinking Brenda's for both but are there and other ideas?
